Ombudsman Service

IRCM offer an Ombudsman service. This is broadly in line with the principles outlined by various agencies throughout the world, in our case specific to complaints. Here are some examples:
In the United States - https://www.state.gov/s/ombudsman/ - in Western Australia - http://www.ombudsman.wa.gov.au/About_Us/Role.htm, and in the UK - https://www.ombudsman-services.org/.
In each case supporting the principles of Independence, Neutrality and Fairness in dealing with complaints.

This is a free service to users of Coaching and Mentoring services anywhere in the world.

If you contact us to use our Ombudsman service, we first ask that you lodge your complaint with the Coach, Mentor, Training organization, Trade Body or Accreditation organization you engaged, and provide them with the opportunity to fully answer your complaint. Only come to us once you have exhausted that option, or have received no response or an inadequate response.

Once we receive notification from you we will, free of charge to the complainant, independently review your case.

The outcomes range from - full support of your claim through to rejection. Whatever the outcome we will notify both you and who you complained against of our findings.

We are an independent regulator, accordingly do not have regulatory law to enforce a disciplinary finding, however we are independent, and recognized as such.

We will help you build a legal case if you deem such action necessary and help you with the various routes to redress that you seek.

Further we will publish the findings if it is shown that the Coach or Mentor has breached proper professional standards and not dealt with you in a professional manner.
